I first fell in love with movies, watching Star Wars as a young kid. I would stay up at night watching behind the scenes extra content. I always asked myself “why and how does George Lucas make the decisions he makes?”. After being introduced to film production, I found my calling. My friends and I would spend weekends making short films and goofy videos to share with classmates and co-workers. My high school only had iMovie at the time, so after a few months I convinced the faculty to install the newest version of FinalCutPro (version 7). I was hooked.

After graduating high school, I went to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to study film production. After studying for two years in Wisconsin, I realized the best opportunity to push my career forward was to move to southern California where I continued my studies. I’ve always been fascinated by the Hollywood film industry, and at a young age, I fell in love with California while visiting my grandparents.

Throughout high school and college, I gained experience in video production, writing, editing, acting and directing. As I made videos I got better and quickly realized that making videos is what I wanted to do as a career. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, so for several years I spent countless hours each day learning and practicing. Still to this day I am always learning new ways to make my videos better. I specialize in professional video editing using Final Cut Pro as well as videography and photography.

My company, Liv Laughing Productions, started as a YouTube channel under Liv Laughing. The name came from something my Grandfather would say. “Life is always better laughing.” After moving back to Wisconsin in December of 2021, I knew it was time to put my plans into action. I contacted an old college friend who was a realtor. Right after the new year, Liv Laughing Productions made its first dollar.
